Tips

It’s a cliché because it works. ‘Start with the end in mind’. If you’re not crystal clear about what your precise message is for your audience, they haven’t got a chance of figuring it out.

Be yourself no matter who the audience. Senior management, graduate trainees, internal stakeholders or external, large scale audiences or small-scale meetings. Be yourself across the board for maximum integrity and confidence.

No! No! No! Don’t look at the back wall, above their heads, or imagine them naked. Look them in the eye. Talk WITH them not AT them. Be fully present with your audience to increase your presence and fully engage them.
