Are you wasting time in meetings that are unfocused, unstructured, poorly organized and badly run? Simply Facilitating ensures meeting facilitators do their prep-work quickly and efficiently, and know how to manage the time and the people to ensure there’s clear, relevant and workable outcomes to every meeting.
A good facilitator: cares about the people; wants to help; puts their ego aside.
Don’t be too brief with your briefs! The participants and contributors need to know the context, objective, the agenda, the speakers, the themes and expectations.... in brief ;)
The flow of a meeting has womanly curves. It’s your job as facilitator to know when to broaden the discussion and narrow it in. When to expand into green fields and when to focus in on outcomes and actions.
"A practical training course that gave me new skills I can use immediately, both in 1-on-1 and group meetings. The difference between presentation and facilitation techniques; understanding my role as facilitator; and having a structure to work with will enable me to create the right environment to reach the desired end result.
Knowing I am fully prepared in advance of the meeting gives me enormous confidence that my future sessions will be enjoyable for the attendees and more importantly, results driven.” HR Manager, International FMCG company
