For those who have participated in 'Simply Presenting' and are looking to refresh, consolidate and extend their skills. 1-Day, 6 participants.
'Simply Presenting Stretch' explores the '1 percenters' - the more subtle aspects of presenting that make the difference between a good, competent presenter, and an outstanding one. Specifically, the 'Simply Presenting Stretch' Program:
Allows the opportunity for:
- Further personal practice and intensive feedback
- Group discussion of current internal issues and communications
Reinforces skills related to:
- Being absolutely clear with the message you'd like to convey
- Keeping your argument focused, punchy and relevant
Drills down and allows for more rigorous exercises regarding:
Empathy
- Consciously building rapport throughout the communication
- Speaking in your audience's language
Engagement
- Using practical, meaningful examples and stories
- Encouraging listener interaction
- Facilitating meetings - generating and managing discussions
Extemporization
- Handling tough question, being flexible and managing time
- Thinking on your feet & dealing with impromptu presentations
Emphasis
- Using language and body language to stress or de-stress news
Emphasises the use of these skills for:
- Initiating discussion & meetings
- Impromptu communications
- Emails and written documentation
As an alternative to the full day group training, the 'Simply Presenting Stretch' program can be run by way of Individual Coaching.
In effect each of the 6 participants receives 1¼ hours of personalised coaching over the course of a day.
